Key Terms

Use of “We”,”We’re”, “Us”, “Our” all refer to Getinn.co.uk. Use of “Customer”, “You”. “Your”, “You’re”, “diner” all refer to any person signing the agreement to join Getinn.co.uk. 

Terms and Conditions will be referred to as T&Cs.

Use of Platform will cover WhatsApp, SMS, email and any other communication channel used.

Hosts refers to pubs and restaurants.

 

The T&Cs within this contract apply in full upon agreement by you. No element of the T&Cs stand alone or can be removed. The T&Cs apply in full at all times and can’t be superseded by any other persons or businesses T&Cs.

Service We Provide

Our service is to connect local and independent businesses to you, on a platform via the contact details you provide. You will set your own preferences and we will manage the type and amount of messages you receive based on the information you provide. By agreeing to our T&C’s you confirm you have given consent for Getinn.co.uk to contact you via WhatsApp, SMS or email. You can update your preferences and location at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe in full or leave a community then you can do this any time on our website or by contacting us on WhatsApp, email or post. Getinn.co.uk is not responsible for any charges you may incur from your network provider, this includes receiving or sending messages and data charges.

 

Getinn.co.uk will send information regarding, but not limited to, events, discounts, offers and availability that have been provided to us by hosts. This information is provided by the host and it is not the responsibility of Getinn.co.uk. Any negative experience, loss of money, travel expense or time is not the responsibility of Getinn.co.uk and is not something we will reimburse/refund. We will ask all hosts to honour any details they provide within agreed contacts.

 

In order for us to get the information you want to receive correctly, we will ask for a certain amount of your personal information and preferences. It is your responsibility to enter these correctly, keep them up to date and change them as required. This will be requested by us upon signing up, you can also change at any time on our website or by contacting us at contactus@getinn.co.uk. Getinn.co.uk will keep your personal information whilst you’re signed up to receive messages and haven’t asked to be removed. If you unsubscribe or ask to stop receiving messages we will keep your personal information for up to 4 weeks. Following this all of your personal information will be deleted. If you ask for your personal information to be deleted/destroyed this will be done within 3 working days (Monday-Friday).

 

We have procedures in place to protect and keep your personal information safe. We will only ask for the personal information we need. We will not share any identifiable information with anyone outside of our organisation for sales or marketing purposes. We will use 3rd party software in the running of our business, your personal information will be used and stored on these. Personal information will not be shared with hosts.

 

Getinn.co.uk is free for you to use. We will not ask you for payment or bank information. All members must confirm and agree that they’re 18 or over to use the platform. 

 

Problems With Hosts Service & Liability 

 

Getinn.co.uk is a platform to connect customers to hosts and is not responsible for but is not limited to any of the points below. If any of these issues arise please contact the host company directly.

  • No availability or double bookings.

  • Discount dispute, either value, percentage or what’s included.

  • Changes to menus and prices.

  • Anything relating to the hosts services, for example but not limited to, food and drink quality, service levels, cleanliness.

  • Unavailable items, either due to availability or exclusions.

  • Experience level below expectations.

  • Closure of the host for any reason.

  • Damages/loss of any personal property or personal harm.

 

If there is an issue in the service we’re providing or a message you have received from us and you wish to raise a complaint, then please read our complaints and get in touch sections.

 

Complaints

We review all complaints seriously, so in order to review and understand what has happened we might get back in touch with you to get more information. Reviews will vary depending on the complaint made and the complexity but we will always aim to respond within seven working days even if it’s to provide an update.
