FAQ's
How many times a month will you message me?
That all depends on your preferences and if they’re relevant messages for you. We want to make sure you only receive what you're looking for, when you want, from where you want. Another factor will be how many communities you choose to join, the more you join, the more likely you’ll receive more messages.

Does using the platform cost me as a diner?
No, we charge nothing for joining communities and receiving messages for diners. We currently use WhatsApp as our choice of communication channel with it being the most used platform. There might be costs associated with using mobile data, this is the responsibility of the policy holder.

I want to change my preferences for a community I’m already in?
Simply complete the form again with all of your preferences. This won’t add to your preferences so you need to make sure everything you want to include is selected.
E.g, you currently have Sunday and 12pm-2pm as a day/time of choice and want to add Saturday, you would need to add both Saturday and Sunday and the 12pm-2pm in your new submission. If you don’t select Sunday it will be removed so you have Saturday only.

Can I have different preferences for each host?
The preferences you select are specific to you and cover all hosts within the communities you have joined.

Will I receive messages from communities I haven’t joined or anyone else?
We don’t give your personal information to anyone for sales or marketing purposes. You will only receive messages directly from Getinn.co.uk. Hosts will never have access to your personal information either.
We will send a limited number (a max. of 3 per month) of messages to you from communities that you haven’t joined. They must be within a certain radius to your set location, match your preferences and communities you’ve already joined. Our aim is to help diners find new places close by that they’ll love.
How is my information used?
We use your information to be able to contact you, tailor messages and personalise specifically for you. We use third party software to run the business but your information will not be shared for sales or marketing purposes. We take looking after and keeping any personal information safe very seriously. Check out our Privacy Policy on Getinn.co.uk.

I want to leave a community or Getinn.co.uk in full?
If it’s a host community you’re wanting to leave, select the specific host from the drop down pub selector and then “leave” in the receive messages section.
If leaving all communities on Getinn.co.uk, select “leave Getinn.co.uk” in both the drop down pub selector and then “leave” in the receive message section.
Just remember to always complete your personal information, your phone number is the most important part so we can link it to you. Tick any option in the required field, this won’t make a difference to leaving.​​​​
